The main challenge when manufacturing the furniture for the Lacoste shop was producing elegant furniture with subtle finishes, as the aim was to keep the furniture in the background, in order to highlight the diverse range of colours that characterise the brand. Dark stained wood was used to highlight the grain in the construction of the furniture. In addition, electrostatic powder paint in a matt dark grey tone was used on the 12mm ironwork.

The main unit was anchored to the wall and was manufactured using folded iron. Both the shelves and the main unit were finished with matt dark grey electrostatic paint.

The branded light box at the top of the cabinet represented a major challenge, which led to the construction of several prototypes in order to determine the right material for its manufacture. In the end, the decision was made to use white backlit acrylic covered with fabric. In addition, the logo was screen printed onto the fabric to achieve a result that was as close as possible to the vision Lacoste had.

Laser cutting was used to engrave the logo on the furniture in order to obtain a better precision. The material used was 5mm wood.
