Revor

Revor is a company with more than 50 years’ experience dedicated to the development of paint products in Chile. In this project, I designed the furniture and managed its manufacture. The main raw material used was hardwood plywood and it was sealed with a matte finish.

The reception desk is a work table that was designed so that the user can see and select physical samples to take home and try, in order to help them choose the final colour or colours for their project. 

The different pieces of furniture manufactured were designed for sample stands and the sale of paint-related products. As I mentioned before, the material used was hardwood plywood. The advantage of this material  is that it’s economical and strong.


Another piece of furniture manufactured for this project was a shelving rack to display sandpaper. It has 9 shelves in which sandpaper for wood and iron with grit numbers from 80 to 5,000. In addition, shelves were made to hold paint in 3.5 litre containers.

This  main piece of furniture is the counter, which is also made of plywood. It is covered with a sheet of 8mm tempered glass to protect the wood. The logo was laser cut into a piece of MDF and then painted with semi-gloss polyurethane paint, and then attached to the front.

The first sample book hanging on the wall shows the different shades of colours that can be manufactured exclusively by Revor according to their customers’ needs, as the company has a machine to identify the exact colour of your sample.

The second sample book hanging on the wall displays samples of the finishes available such as wood varnishes, paints for the protection of ironwork and paint finishes such as matt, gloss, semi-gloss and satin.
I also designed a slotted wall unit, which is a multifunctional piece of furniture that can be used with hooks to hang different small products such as brushes, sponges, rollers or any product related to the brand.
The worktop box is a multifunctional piece of furniture, as it can be moved to different parts of the shop to display different products. This shop in general is fitted with simple furniture to recreate the feeling of a warehouse and has polished concrete floors.
